Church BiographyBruce and Kate Robertson are the senior leaders of Globe Church – Eastlakes and Newcastle. They and their five children, have been a part of Globe Church for eight years, and involved with church, community and business leadership for more than 25 years.
Since becoming the Senior Minister, Bruce along with his team, has successfully led the church through a period of reinvention – the fruit of which is seen in the thriving 500 people strong church we are today. Bruce has previously been the General Manager of a very effective advertising agency, and the Creative Director of dozens of events in our nation. This creative strength is now reflected in the style and presentation of Globe Church.
Future directions will see the launch of the GLOBE Creative Arts Leadership School, along with the Globe Network of churches; and Globe Life Resources will be readily available around the nations.
The blend of practical wisdom and humour that characterises Bruce’s communication is also reflected in his teaching resources and his new book The A-Z of Fantastic Families, coming soon!
Bruce’s vision is to make life better for every person first by reaching those in his own community, building them into an amazing local church and then exporting the ‘heartbeat’ of the house across Australia and throughout the nations. This has resulted in the growth of a fast-paced, contemporary and culturally relevant church community. There are currently about 30 ministry initiatives working across the church and wider ministry, a testimony to Bruce’s empowering leadership style.
